Evo UI is a new framework for building modern user interfaces in Unity. It is a recent release by developer Michsky, who has also created several other UI related assets in the Unity Asset Store, including complete UI kits that cover different aesthetics.
The Evo UI framework offers a wide range of elements, components, and editor tools for creating custom-tailored interfaces. It includes buttons, sliders, selectors, tabs, modal windows, dropdowns and other essential building blocks. It also provides more specialized elements such as progress bars, color pickers, date and time selectors, tooltips, and notifications. Additionally, it includes chart functionality with elements for displaying several chart styles such as Vertical, Horizontal, Radar, Pie, and Line.
The framework features a modular design that supports extensive customization and provides the ability to add, modify and adapt each element to the style of a project. Colors, fonts and visual rules across all UI elements can be adjusted through the Styler, Evo UI's customization system, and changes can be previewed instantly without modifying objects.
Additional features include a collection of more than 300 unique icons that can be used to make settings easier for players to identify, built-in interaction sound effects, and a fully featured demo scene. In addition, Evo UI includes a custom editor layout with features such as styling presets and an icon browser that help streamline the UI building workflow.
The framework is designed to integrate with future packages such as Evo Localization, which will allow for easy localization of projects. According to the developer this package will be available at no additional cost for Evo UI owners when released.
