Human Shaders is a recently released shader pack for Godot, designed to create realistic humanoid characters. It comes as a complete Godot project, featuring example models and a simple model viewer. The package includes three main shaders: Skin, Eye, and Eye Wetness.
The project was developed by a 3D artist known as MatMADNESS, who built upon Godot's standard shader and refined it with creative modifications. The results highlight the impressive graphical potential of the Godot Engine, and the asset provides a valuable addition for developers aiming to achieve this level of realism.

According to the author, this project remains a work in progress and is not actively maintained. Updates may be infrequent or may not occur. Instead, the shaders are intended as a foundation for users to adapt and expand, tailoring them to their own projects.
The shaders have been developed in Godot 4.5 and may also be compatible with earlier versions, though users will need to test compatibility.
Human Shaders is available now on GitHub, released under the MIT and CC BY 4.0 licenses.
