Abstraction Generator is a recently released tool for Unreal Engine that creates abstract visual effects in real time. Developed by Adam Drzazga, it is part of the author's Niagara Fluids series, using Unreal Engine 5's advanced Niagara VFX system to simulate fluid dynamics.
The tool includes 21 Niagara Fluids systems: 8 that use a mesh renderer for spawning and 13 that use a sprite renderer.
It offers around 50 user parameters to customize effects quickly, including settings for textures, shaders, and particle spawns in Niagara Fluids.
Particles can be spawned in various ways, such as within a container, on skeletal or static meshes, along splines, or using specific shapes like "Shape Location" within the Niagara System.
The package also provides 8 example setups with tutorials to help users get started, along with 5 overview maps. Abstraction Generator is designed to be user-friendly, providing a streamlined workflow that enables users to focus on their creativity to achieve stunning results.
Other tools you may find useful from the author's "Niagara Fluids" series include Tornado Generator, Clouds Generator, Fog and Smoke Volume, and Smoke and Fire Spline.
